Itching

We arrived in Amsterdam on Tuesday morning and stayed with Melanie until this past Friday. Paul arranged some friends to come and see me. It was really nice he did that. I dont think I could of visited them. Still a little weak. Although I felt better. Not sure how to describe it. Not sick from the chemo. On Friday we went to my parents house. Saw a good friend Annemie and her friend, Jan. My sister and her boyfriend and Onida also came to visit. My sister was also there with Onida when we took off for our drive to Hirsthals Denmark. It was sad to leave everyone. It was such a long drive. The itching never stopped. Poor Paul, he rubbed my back when he could, which was quite a bit of the time. Traffic was good all the way up. We are now in the Skaga hotel packing...

Thank you

The biopsy they did on my skin lesions were infected as I knew it would be. Doctor Naing stopped the trial today for me. I also had an appointment with the breast oncology Doctor Moulder. She wants to put me on another trial. Phase 1 study of Bendamustine and Bevacizumab combined. Both of these chemos are FDA approved but have never been tried together. Chemo every two weeks. Lets hope that this is the one I need. This drug will attack the blood vessels and the other one attacks the tumor cells. Yes also my good cells.:-( But I’m strong so it will be fine. Right now I have to wait about two weeks before they can start. One week is already over so one more to go. Here is a link to the page that describes what these chemos do:   There is not a whole lot...

Cancer in the Skin

Last week they raised the dose of Benadryl to 50mg for my hives’ that I get from the chemo from head to toe. They ask Paul to stay with me cause it will make me real drowsy. I have to be different right. I didn’t feel drowsy like they described to me. All I know was my itch was gone…what a relief. Friday I started to have some runny nose and when I woke up at the middle of the night my throat was soar. I think that Paul gave this to me. He was coughing a lot last week. I know he likes to share everything with me but this one he could of kept to himself. I am now on antibiotics again, as it got to be a bad infection for me. Still coughing but feeling better today. Saturday they did a Ct scan on me and couldn’t find my vein as always I don’t have to many...
